Mission San Jose Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Mission San Jose was the third Rotary club founded in the City of Fremont, California was founded April 18, 1983 by local merchants and business men and women to foster the ideals of Rotary International in their local community. The club started with twenty-nine charter members, of which about one third previously belonged to other local clubs.

  Since that time, Rotarians from Mission San Jose have participated in local and international humanitarian events including: Feed the Hungry, Local Park Clean-up, The Corazon housing project in Mexico, Polio eradication world-wide, rebuilding the historic Tank House located in Ardenwood and many other activities so serve the community.


Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas.
